Sales workflow

Create invoices that are ready to send and easy to follow.

BPS Pro supports normal sales invoices, credit notes, proformas, reminders, payment status, legal follow-up, comments, and delivery by email or Peppol where available.

Create a sales invoice

  1. Select the customer and verify invoice address, VAT number, language, and payment term.
  2. Add invoice lines with clear descriptions, quantities, prices, VAT rates, discounts, commercial deductions, guarantees, or withholdings where relevant.
  3. Review the due date, payment reference, totals, and comments before generating the PDF or sending the invoice.

Send by email or Peppol

Use email for normal customer communication and Peppol for customers that can receive structured e-invoices. Peppol delivery depends on company activation, customer Peppol details, valid invoice content, and the configured sending service.

If BPS Pro reports that an invoice is not sendable, fix the missing customer, company, invoice line, or delivery data first instead of retrying blindly.

Register payments and follow overdue invoices

Sales invoice lists help you filter and review open, paid, overdue, and attention-needed invoices. Register payment information when money is received, add comments for follow-up context, and use reminders when a customer misses a due date.

Do not skip status updates: overdue reports and cash-flow views are only useful when payment information stays current.

Credit notes, proformas, and legal follow-up

Create a credit note when a final invoice needs a financial correction. Use proformas when the customer should receive a draft-like document before final invoicing. Legal follow-up fields and comments help keep escalation visible without losing the original invoice history.
